Grenzstadt (formerly Filder) is a City near the southern world border. It was founded by KingDaKa4 and is owned by him.

History

Founding and Inactivity

Grenzstadt was created on April 24th, 2025 when KingDaKa4 decided to start a settlement far from spawn close to the world border. After several days of walking and searching, he found the perfect spot to settle down. He then proceeded to dig out a hole down to Bedrock and sealed it with glass. After that he sold the excavated materials to finance the founding of the settlement, which he named Filder.

After digging out the hole, KingDaKa4 built several farm buildings. However, when he suddenly disappeared one day in early July 2025, all activity in Filder ceased for the rest of the year.

Revival and Growth

At the end of December 2025, KingDaKa4 returned to the server. Shortly after his equally sudden return, he decided that the farm buildings he had built back then had to go. He also chose to rename Filder to Grenzstadt. A mushroom farm and a new sugarcane farm were built, and after that, nothing new happened for a few days.

It was only at the end of January when KingDaKa4 started to invite a few players, including VanillaCake__, who very soon became heavily involved in the development of the town.
And thus Grenzstadt began a period of serious growth in late January and early February 2026, rising from a tribe of 5 members to a town of over 30 in less than a week.
