These are the ranks on BetaMC in-game and on the discord.

Player Ranks

Player

The default rank for players on the server. They lack the donator perks and any special commands or powers.

Donator (+/++)

Awarded to players who have donated a total of $15 CAD or more. Donator+/++ are $30 CAD and $60 CAD respectively, though they provide no further benefits.

They gain access to the donator perks, which are:

  • /nick - to set custom nicknames
  • /hat - to wear blocks and items on their head
  • Chat and sign colors
  • Custom join & quit messages
  • The logblock tool (See who placed a block)
  • Access to future additional donator perks

Trusted

Trusted is a rank given to extremely prominent Beta community at large members, often longtime staff members of other top Beta servers. This rank is seldom given out and is done so at the discretion of server Administrators. Do not ask for this rank.

Staff Ranks

Trial-Moderator

The rank given to one who has been accepted onto the staff team on a trial basis to start. The objective is to determine whether they will be a good fit to be a Moderator on the server. Through shadowing Moderators and demonstrating
Trial-Mods have access to many commands used for staffing including:

  • Logblock commands
  • Ban, Kick and Mute
  • Socialspy

Moderator

Developer

As the name suggest Developers develop new features for BMC. This may be in the form of plugins, web development or other server related projects.
Developers do not have access to rule enforcement commands but as a reward for their work improving the server they receive benefits such as they ability to fly and more.

Administrator

Administrators are the senior level staff of BMC. Their duties vary but include server community management, server policy & rules, and management of the moderation team. Admins possess an in-depth knowledge of BMC history, policy, and the general workings of the server and are longtime and prominent players in the community.
Administrators have access to nearly all commands on the server including:

  • World Edit

Operator

Operators are the highest level of staff on BMC. They have access to all possible commands and have access to the server backend. The role of Operators is to maintain server uptime, govern the server backend, and manage complex server issues.
