- Fences are crafted with 6 sticks, similar to trapdoors.
- Books are crafted with 3 paper, vertically.
- Stone buttons are crafted with 2 stone, vertically
- Mushroom stew is crafted with red and brown mushrooms and a bowl, vertically.
Crop Trampling
In beta Minecraft, crops are very fragile, and break if you do not sneak (Shift) on farmland. You can prevent crop breakage by placing fences underneath the farmland, which allows you to walk and jump on crops without breaking them.
Funky blocks
Some blocks such as stairs and slabs don't always break the fastest with the tool one would expect.
- All slabs are best broken with a Pickaxe
- Wooden stairs are best broken with a Sword
- Wool is best broken with shears
In general, Swords break all blocks 15% faster than using no tool at all, so in cases where there is no specific tool, use a Sword. WIP
